Product Market Sprint ("we", "us", or "our") connects product builders, small businesses, and sponsors through sprint programmes and related communications. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through productmarketsprint.ai, email, application forms, and our programmes.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• your name, email address, location, and contact details;
• your professional background, skills, portfolio links, and application responses;
• information about your business, organisation, industry, and the opportunity or outcome you submit;
• newsletter preferences and communication history;
• information you provide in emails, interviews, feedback, or programme participation; and
• basic technical information such as the page used to submit a form, referral source, server logs, and website analytics data collected through cookies, including pages viewed, approximate location, device, and browser.

Please do not submit sensitive, confidential, or third-party personal information unless it is necessary and you are authorised to share it.

How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you submit an application, business opportunity, sponsor enquiry, newsletter subscription, or email. We may also collect information during programme planning and participation, or from publicly available professional sources where reasonably necessary to assess or organise a sprint.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• review applications and enquiries;
• plan, operate, and follow up on sprints;
• match suitable builders, businesses, sponsors, mentors, and programme partners;
• respond to questions and provide requested communications;
• send programme updates and newsletters where you have subscribed or consented;
• improve our website, programme, and communications; and
• meet legal, security, and administrative requirements.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers to operate the website and manage submissions. These currently include Vercel for website hosting, Kit for forms and email communications, and Google for selected application forms and hosted services. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers, event providers, or programme partners where reasonably necessary to organise a sprint or respond to your request.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share a submitted business opportunity publicly without discussing that use with the participating business.

Overseas processing

Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they or their infrastructure operate. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy and security terms as well as our agreements with them.

Storage, security, and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. No online system is completely secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, programme administration, record keeping, dispute resolution, or legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it where practical.

Marketing choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send service messages that are necessary to respond to an enquiry or administer your participation.

Access, correction, and complaints
